Rodney and Cheryl Bates

We continue to live in Oakley, Kansas. Our sons live in Beloit, Ks; Miltonvale, Ks; and Lincoln, Ks, so we see them quite often. We attend sporting events and special occasions of our grandchildren, with the exception of two grandchildren who live in California with their Mother. Our lives are mostly made up of a routine of Doctor visits and a little fishing (when we can!) I do have regular meetings as I am still on a bank board of directors and just this year joined the board of the local nursing home. In the summer Cheryl continues to tend her flowers and a small garden and I still play a little golf. We have been able to take some long trips (except for last year, of course) and plan to see South Dakota, and Michigan this year.

The pictures are of us, our oldest son Jeff, his wife Jeri and their 5 children; Megan, Adam, Brandon, Luke and Aaron; Darren and his wife Angie and their two children, Jordyn and Adley; and Dan and his wife Traci and their 3 boys, Levi, Clay and Dane. In case you wonder what the thing is with the eggs hanging on it is, it is an old twisted bare tree which Cheryl decorates for most holidays, year round! This was, of course, for Easter, when they were all here.
